Benchmark Service All Star of the Month – May 2025

Congratulations to Brooklyn, the May recipient of the Benchmark Service All Star of the Month Award! This morning, Jenny Clark, Ashley LaFata, Stephanie Webb, and John Webb surprised our Farmville branch to let them know that they had an All Star among them! It was announced Brooklyn was our ALL STAR, and she was so surprised, tissues were needed. Abigail and Lisa read their nominations, and Ashley and Cheryl Gee shared stories on Brooklyn and how she has shown all-star qualities on more than one occasion. John and Jenny thanked Brooklyn and the entire Farmville team for helping our customers through recent times of transition. Stephanie presented Brooklyn with a star to wear on her name badge and her traveling trophy that she can proudly display on her desk, to let everyone know that she is an ALL STAR!

On a phone call today, Brooklyn was determined to help a customer who had difficulty speaking English. She immediately began looking up phrases in Spanish on the internet in order to help the customer.

Brooklyn answered the phone, and there was a Hispanic gentleman on the phone. He spoke some English, but Brooklyn had a hard time understanding all of the words. She used Google to speak Spanish to him as best she could and wound up fixing his problem.

A customer had trouble getting into internet banking on the new website. Brooklyn tried assisting her over the phone and through email without success. The customer brought her laptop to the branch per Brooklyn's suggestion, but she had no access to the internet. Brooklyn got her own cell phone out and gave the customer a hotspot connection. She was so impressed that she wrote a letter about how fantastic Brooklyn is!
