Benchmark Service All Star of the Month – April 2025
Brittany Howard – Retail Training Specialist I
Congratulations to Brittany, the April recipient of the Benchmark Service All Star of the Month Award! This morning, Jenny Clark, Ashely LaFata, Holly McFarland, John Webb, Susan Jenkins and Stephanie Webb surprised our South Hill branch to let them know that they had an All Star among them! It was announced Brittany (who was training in South Hill today) was our ALL STAR, and she was so surprised, she had a few tears fall. Holly and Ashley read her nominations and Ashley shared how thankful she is to have Brittany on our training team. John and Jenny both commented on the tremendous influence Brittany will have in this role with our new hires and how thankful we are to have Brittany on our Benchmark team. Susan said she has many reasons to be so proud of Brittany! Stephanie presented Brittany with a star to wear on her name badge and her traveling trophy that she can proudly display on her desk, to let her team know that she is an ALL STAR!

Brittany has been an amazing pilot to our retail staff throughout the entire conversion process. She always has the most positive and upbeat approach to answering questions and lending a helping hand. When the retail staff started getting a little nervous about having help available on Saturday, once again, Brittany did not hesitate to say YES, I will be their helpline Saturday. Her availability gave the team the confidence and support they needed. Thank you, Brittany! This is the stuff All Stars are made of!!!

Brittany has been going above and beyond as a Horizon pilot. During conversion week, the compliance team has had to consult some of the pilots to help with teller specific questions. While Brittany is in retail and is learning Horizon herself and handling customers, she has been more than willing to answer all our questions, return our calls, and even allowed us to transfer tellers to her so she could walk them through the process step by step to get the issue resolved. She was even willing to get on a call with FIS while helping Patty and Susan on two different computers to try and figure out a specific issue that was occurring
